We’re a scale-up on the fast-paced journey of accelerated growth and developing rigour and scalability in our processes is paramount. To develop this rigour and keep our “EK Tech Software Solution identity” at the same time, we need an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead to work directly with the CEO and alongside the Executive team and the People team.

The Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (& Impact) is responsible for creating and implementing plans to promote equality, diversity, inclusion & impact (EDII) within our organisation and acts as strategic advisor for EDII elements of cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities for this Position:

  • Developing and executing a Global Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and programs to scale globally whilst being tailored to local needs.
  • Lead or participate in global Equality, Diversity & Inclusion projects to successful delivery.
  • Investigate and conduct deep analysis of the internal data, to build a clear image of equality and diversity across the organisation.
  • Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines; establish yourself as a trusted subject matter expert to inspire leaders at all levels to drive prioritisation of and commitment to EDII goals.
  • Disseminate learning and awareness-raising across the company, making use of existing networks and developing new ones where appropriate.
  • Translate best practices in EDII into readily available resources and programs aligned to business needs; disseminate resources in a variety of formats across all levels of the organization.
  • Report on EDII efforts and partner with the business and the People team to drive improvements in hiring and retention.
  • Lead on internal and external EDII events (i.e. International Women’s Day/Pride Month/ Mental Health Awareness week etc).
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people, resources and budget.
  • In partnership with Marketing & Communications, develop communication strategies, tools and content relating to Diversity & Inclusion, business ethics and CSR.
  • To develop an effective CSR programme encompassing environment, workplace, community and marketplace issues that will deliver agreed CSR targets.
  • To understand industry standards for measurement and establish CSR performance indicators to bring the organisation in line.
  • To establish charity partnership programmes and develop relationships with key business contacts within partners.

We’re looking for a Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion who has a combination of:

  • Experience in an Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Impact role in a global fast-paced, agile & entrepreneurial work environment.
  • Balance between hands-on approach and strategic vision.
  • Ability to influence staff at all levels right up to Executive Team.
  • Excellent, pro-active communicator.
  • Experienced in a Tech-based learning environment with scalable and international solutions.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and resourceful.
